During the sixteenth Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (COP 16), held for the first time in the Middle East and North Africa in Riyadh, a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed today between the Saudi Mining Services Company (ESNAD) and the National Center for Environmental Compliance (NCEC). The MoU was signed by Engineer Ameen Al-Ghamdi, Vice President for Compliance at ESNAD, and Engineer Abdulaziz Al-Sufyani, Executive Director of Environmental Performance at the NCEC.
The memorandum aims to explore and study frameworks for cooperation and partnership in several strategic areas, seeking to enhance integration between ESNAD and the Center to achieve sustainable development goals in the mining sector. This memorandum will serve as a foundation for establishing a fruitful strategic partnership that meets the aspirations of both parties, based on Saudi Vision 2030.
