ESNAD Concludes Its Participation in the Future Minerals Forum 2025

The Saudi Mining Services Company (ESNAD) concluded its distinguished participation in the fourth edition of the Future Minerals Forum 2025, held at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh from January 14–16, 2025, under the theme “Creating Impact.” The event brought together representatives from over 170 countries and leading companies in the mining sector, serving as a global platform for exchanging ideas and discussing innovations aimed at enhancing the sector’s sustainability.

Recognition by the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources

In a gesture reflecting the significant appreciation for ESNAD’s role in advancing and sustaining the mining sector, His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Al-Khorayef, honored the company as a founding partner of the Future Minerals Forum 2025. The recognition came as an acknowledgment of ESNAD’s outstanding contributions to achieving the Kingdom’s developmental goals in the mining sector. During the event, the Minister, accompanied by a ministerial delegation, visited ESNAD’s pavilion, where they discussed the company’s strategic efforts and initiatives in digital transformation and innovation. Key projects aimed at improving sector efficiency and sustainability were showcased.

ESNAD played an active role in the forum’s panel discussions, with its leadership providing comprehensive insights into key issues surrounding the development of the mining sector. Mohammed Al-Jada, Executive Vice President of Strategy and Customer Experience, highlighted the importance of infrastructure development for achieving operational efficiency in the sector during the session titled “Infrastructure Enabling Minerals Development,” emphasizing its pivotal role in supporting sustainable growth. Similarly, Majed Al-Humaid, Vice President of Digital Transformation, discussed the significance of critical minerals in meeting the demands of data centers in the session titled “How Will the World Meet Growing Energy Demands Amid the Rapid Expansion of the AI Economy?” where he stressed the necessity of adopting advanced technologies to promote sustainability. Eng. Ameen Al-Ghamdi, Vice President of Compliance, added to the discourse in the session titled “Shaping the Future of Exploration,” presenting the Kingdom’s vision for attracting emerging investors while shedding light on efforts to create a supportive investment environment.

During the forum, ESNAD signed a series of strategic agreements and memorandums of understanding aimed at fostering innovation and supporting operational efficiency in the mining sector. These included a collaboration with SIMAH to provide credit consulting and support services to investors, and an MoU with Quant to leverage satellite and artificial intelligence technologies to improve mining operations. Another MoU was signed with GeoTech to enhance the use of geographic information systems in managing mining lands, while an agreement with the Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation aimed to enhance the investment climate for attracting investors. Additionally, ESNAD partnered with Huawei to develop IoT-based solutions for improving operational systems and signed an agreement with Bank Albilad to support investors by facilitating the issuance of guarantees for mining licenses. Collaborations were also established with InEvent to develop digital solutions for inspecting the mining sector and with the National Committee for Cement Companies under the Federation of Saudi Chambers to enhance cooperation between the cement and mining sectors. Partnerships with Star Vision focused on applying satellite and AI technologies for efficiency improvement, while an agreement with STC aimed to drive growth in the mining sector through technological and digital services. Finally, ESNAD collaborated with the Saudi Mining Polytechnic to boost cooperation in research and development and support the application of advanced technologies.

Future Vision for the Mining Sector

The forum concluded with extensive discussions on the future of the mining sector and strategies for enhancing its sustainability. ESNAD reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s aspirations in achieving Vision 2030, emphasizing economic diversification and innovation. The company aims to continue adopting cutting-edge technologies and best practices to ensure the sector’s sustainability and align with global developments.
